Identify 'Silent e' Words

On Iqleel, first-grade students will learn about the 'magic' silent 'e' at the end of words. They will discover how adding a silent 'e' to a CVC word changes the vowel from a short sound to a long sound, like how 'cap' becomes 'cape'. This skill focuses on recognizing this important CVCe spelling pattern and understanding how the silent 'e' does its job without making a sound itself.
