Identify Unit Fractions

About This Skill

In this Grade 2 skill on Iqleel, students will learn to identify and name basic unit fractions. They will look at shapes divided into equal parts and learn the special names for one of those parts, like 'one-half', 'one-third', and 'one-fourth'. This helps build strong fraction vocabulary and connects what they see to the right math words, an important step for developing number sense.
