2nd Grade - Math - Time

About This Skill

Master an essential aspect of telling time in second grade by understanding A.M. and P.M. This skill teaches students to distinguish between the two 12-hour cycles that make up a full day: A.M. (the period from midnight to noon) and P.M. (the period from noon to midnight). Learners will connect A.M. times to morning activities (like breakfast or school start) and P.M. times to afternoon, evening, and night activities (like dinner or bedtime), enabling them to accurately describe and interpret the time of day.
