Example: 8 x 6 = (4 x 6) + (4 x 6) 4 x 6 = 24 4 x 6 = 24 24 + 24 = 48 So, 8 x 6 = 48. You can also use other splits, such as 5 + 3 or 6 + 2, when the parts make the same factor.
