Unlock the magic of numbers in Kindergarten with "Counting up to 5"! This essential skill teaches young learners how to accurately count sets of objects up to five. Students will master saying number words in sequence while pointing to each object exactly once (one-to-one correspondence), and understand that the last number they say tells the total quantity (cardinality). They'll also practice modeling quantities by creating groups of up to 5 items, building a strong foundation for number sense.

When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object. b.
