Choose the Correct Punctuation Mark
Choose the right end mark: a period or a question mark?
Kindergarten - English Language Arts - Punctuation Marks
About This Skill
Is it a telling sentence or an asking sentence? Kindergarteners practice deciding which end mark fits: a period (.) for telling or a question mark (?) for asking. With helpful feedback after each answer, they start to understand that different sentences need different punctuation, an important first step in Writing Conventions.
