Choose the Correct 'Wh-' Word
Choose the right question word: Who, What, or Where?
Kindergarten - English Language Arts - Wh Questions
About This Skill
On Iqleel, Kindergarteners will practice choosing the correct question word to begin a question. They will look at a picture and an answer, then decide which Wh-word is needed to ask the right question. For example, they will learn to choose 'Who' when the answer is about a person, 'What' when it's about a thing, and 'Where' when it's about a place. This skill is an important part of listening comprehension and communication, as it helps children understand how different question words are used to get different kinds of information.
